For a late Christmas present to myself I bought a copy of Aperture 3, which means that it’s time for the Great Photo Organization Project of 2011.  By my estimate I have about 12,000 - 14,000 photographs from the past 6 years since around when I started college that I want to go through, tag, label, group, and plot on a map.  And that’s not counting any pictures from when I really started taking serious photos in High School if I want to include any of those.
This screenshot was the highlight of today’s batch when I was a few hours deep into Aperture’s awesome facial recognition feature.
